A private client wanted to develop their house to create 2 luxury detached properties in Highgate, North London.
The site is situated along a quiet road with a Synagogue to the East, a school to the south, and the famous Berthold Lubetkin apartment building High Point to the North. Numerous challenges were face due to this complex site which were overcome with good design and perseverance.
A simple brick palette was used with deep recessed and large window openings creating a solid, weighty but elegant design.
Exceptional thorough detailing delivered this project as per the client’s requirements. Seamless cladding and brickwork junctions, hidden window frames, brick soffits and a collaborative approach with the interior designer, all helped to deliver these beautiful houses which are a fantastic addition to an area renowned for its Architectural history.
